Who we are
This policy explains how Crest Wave handles personal information in connection with our website, enquiries, and services. It covers information you provide to us and technical information generated when you use the site.
Information we collect
When you use our contact form, we collect your name, business name, mobile number, and message. Your email address is optional. You may also choose to provide more details about your project when communicating with us.
Our website and hosting services may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, and access times to operate and protect the website. Article pages use a randomly generated session identifier to count visits and help show popular articles.
If you purchase a service, billing details and transaction records may be processed to arrange and confirm payment, handle payment enquiries, and maintain necessary business records.
How we use your information
We use information to respond to enquiries, discuss and deliver requested services, communicate about projects and payments, maintain business records, and meet applicable legal obligations. We also use technical information to keep the site working, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, and understand which articles are read.
Payments through Paymob
When payment is made through Paymob, payment credentials are provided through Paymob’s payment flow and processed by Paymob and the relevant payment providers. Paymob may process contact and billing details, card or wallet information, transaction details, and technical information as described in its own privacy policy.
Crest Wave does not collect full card numbers or card security codes (CVV) through its website contact form. Do not include these details in a message or email. We may receive payment references, transaction status, amounts, and details needed to identify a payment and provide the service.
Read Paymob’s Privacy Policy ↗Browser storage and third-party services
Article pages use session storage for a random visitor identifier that helps count views within a browsing session. You can clear or restrict website storage in your browser settings; some features may then work differently.
Pages that display Google Maps or use automatic article translation connect to third-party services, which may receive technical information and use cookies or browser storage under their own policies. Payment pages and external social links are also subject to the relevant provider’s privacy practices.
Retention and security
Personal information is retained for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, including handling enquiries, delivering services, maintaining required transaction records, and resolving disputes. Retention may vary according to the information and applicable requirements.
We use reasonable measures to protect personal information and limit access to those who need it for their work. No online transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and requests
You can contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or raise an objection to its use. Where processing relies on consent, you can ask to withdraw that consent. Available rights and any exceptions depend on applicable law; some records may need to be retained.
We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You can also choose not to submit optional information and manage cookies and website storage using your browser controls.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to our services or information practices. The current version will be published on this page with its last updated date.
